Emergency Room Nurse New

Pride Health is hiring a RN Emergency Department to support our client’s medical facility in Clinton, MD 20735. This is a 13-week assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Summary:

• RN Emergency Department. 36 hours per week (3x12s; Nights: 7 pm to 7:30 am)

• BLS, ACLS and PALS (AHA)

• NIHSS

• Active Maryland RN License or compact state license

• Bachelors of science in nursing

RN Emergency Department:

• Quickly evaluate patients' conditions to determine the severity and urgency of their needs, prioritizing care accordingly.

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, starting IV lines, performing procedures, and cleaning wounds.

• Respond promptly to emergency situations, providing CPR or other life-saving interventions as needed.

• Provide emotional support to patients and their families, offering reassurance and guidance during stressful situations.

• Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition, reporting any changes or concerns to the medical team.

Experience required:

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience is required.

• Must have Triage experience.

• Shifts: 36 hours per week (3x12s; Nights: 7 pm to 7:30 am)

• Travel Weekly Pay: $2000/week to $2140/week
